Artist, Intuitive, TeacherHello! My name is Laura and I'm an artist, intuitive and teacher. Artist and teacher are easy right? But what do I mean by intuitive? I find that I can connect with people, animals, situations, psychically (although I don't enjoy using that word-it has too many negative associations for people!). And since I have began painting many years ago I found that messages and insights would come to me through the actual act of painting. It was just like spending actual physical time with my subjects as I went along doing the portraits. The benefits of intuitive work through painting or through readings are that messages of hope and healing can come forward for people and also the animals that they love-which I find vital now in these times of so much change in our world. Currently I offer readings both in person for individuals, couples and groups and individual readings on the phone as well. I also do commissioned portraits and contemporary paintings in pastel and in oil. In portraits, I hope to connect with the soul of the subject and bring that to live on the canvas or paper. My paintings are layered with symbolism, and often come to me simply through my intuition. They unfold as they are painted, and I don't always know what they are about until I am finished. I start with a general feeling and go from there. Thank you for taking the time to check this website out.
